CIBC recognizing Ontario’s top Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.
University of Toronto student Caroline Cormier was the top Ontario Region fundraiser in the Post Secondary Challenge as CIBC declared. Canada’s colleges and Universities raised around $470,000 for breast cancer research, education, awareness and advocacy through CIBC 2011 Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation run for the cure.Aspirant students like Poonam Batra were also one of the top ten national fund raisers. other students among top fund raiser were Simona Flumian from York University.”Congratulations to all four of these community-minded students from Ontario for their commitment to raising funds for breast cancer,CIBC is thrilled to present them with awards of $10,000 each to help them with their post-secondary studies.”said Christina Kramer, CIBC Executive Vice-President and the bank’s National Run Champion.
