Who can avail International Student Health Insurance?
International Student Health Insurance is a medical cover which takes care of your medical expenses in case of your medical emergency. Considering high cost of medical treatment in Canada this is a must have cover for you.
However, this cover is not available for everyone. In order to have this, you should have enrolled yourself in at least 60% of the required courses for a specific educational program of any Canadian school, university, college or an accredited educational institution.
Even a temporary Canadian resident who does not have government health care cover can get this cover. It is further an advantage that you can get this cover even after completion of your studies up to one year in order to work in your educational field. This cover can be extended to your dependents who are living with you.
